MentorSkid ("Company", "We" or "Us") operates the website https://www.mentorskid.com (together, the "Platform"), which provides online mentoring services to learners and mentors.
These Terms and Conditions describe the terms on which the Company grants end users access to the Platform (the "Services") and should be read together with the Privacy Policy available on the Platform. The Platform is primarily for both mentees and mentors. Anyone below 18 years of age is assumed to be a child ("Child") and needs parental consent to use the Platform. Parents or guardians of a Child, or users above 18 years of age, are referred to as "You". The term "Users" for the purposes of these Terms means You and/or the Child.
Terms of Service
By choosing to visit and/or use any Services provided by the Company, you agree to these Terms (as may be amended from time to time). Please read the following information carefully. If you are a parent or guardian and you consent to your child's use of the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms in respect of their use of the Platform. By your continued access or use of the Platform, you signify your agreement to be legally bound by the Terms set out here. If you do not agree to these Terms, please exit this page and stop accessing the Services.
Description of Services
The Company facilitates online mentoring and education services for both children and adults, aiming to provide guidance across different subjects and skills. The concept is to create a virtual mentoring space that helps people learn without restrictions on time or place.
The Company organizes its Services into modules that a learner is expected to work through, supported by mentors who assist with those modules.
To access the Services, the Child or You may need to create an account and disclose personal information ("Personal Information"), including but not limited to: (i) name, email address, photograph, location, and other contact information; (ii) gender and other demographic details; (iii) birth date and year, to validate the current age of the Child; and (iv) the email address of the Child's parent or guardian, to obtain parental consent.
License to Use
The Company grants You and the Child a limited right to access, view, and use the Platform solely for the purposes of accessing, viewing, posting, or submitting user material, using embedded link functionality, placing orders, or accessing information, applications, and services. The Company reserves the right to suspend or deny, at its sole discretion, your access to all or any part of the Platform. This license is limited to personal, non-commercial use by You and your Child. Any rights not expressly granted here are reserved by the Company.
Intellectual Property Rights
The Company retains all rights (including copyrights, trademarks, patents, designs, logos, trade dress, trade secrets, know-how, and any other intellectual property rights) in all information provided on or via the Platform, including but not limited to curriculum content, text, graphics, photos, illustrations, apps, and logos. You may not copy, download, publish, distribute, or reproduce any information contained on the Platform or its social media in any form without the Company's prior written consent.
Linking
You or the Child may establish a link to one or more other sites, provided that:
- the link is legal and is not detrimental or damaging to, and does not take unfair advantage of, our reputation or business; and
- such linking is not for advertising or promotional purposes, unless We have expressly agreed to it.
